Find Out When & Where We Kick Some Balls!

Well thankfully there were no Africans or imports in Farm!

MyRAWK registered a shock 1-0 win over the league winners today, with the solitary goal scored by Ryan Chong in the 2nd period off a corner kick. The game was 0-0 in the first 30 mins, as both sides played out the game in midfield.

KNNCCB finally got to play as a forward, and he did well by pressuring his markers and chasing for every ball lumped to him. In fact, it was his tireless run that won the corner which RyanC scored from.

3rd period was a typical park-the-bus display, as Farm pushed hard to equalize. The pressure eventually yielded a penalty, which was brilliantly saved by Oscar. Not long later, despite gallant defending from MyRAWK, Farm managed to put a thru ball to one of its players who had a direct shot at scoring, but Oscar saves again!

Some desperate defending, plus a number of fouls by Farm helped run down the clock, and MyRAWK won only its second game this season. I've got cuts and bruises all over, but what a game!

awesome game, better than most if not all of WC group stage games

i actually planned to stay for a while only but stayed on until the final whistle was blown

great goalkeeping and defense

i think my-rawk can match other teams when played on a real football field. we played pretty against CK and RDL at UM-C field

FFK looked so ordinary yesterday against SSPKD but when played at GIS, they were awesome

the team we beat before this at GIS, DJ, has won all their games in UM-C field

I must agree that it was a hard fought win for MyRawk. This is the only time I guess where all the players are encouraging each other to play better, backing each other, not shouting at each other for the mistake done. Everybody seems to be very comfortable and confident at passing the ball. It was a really good win.

After 8 games
The best moment after 8 games playing with MyRawk must be Oscar saving the penalty, it was awesome! The shot was powerful, the stunt and the punch from the keeper equally marvelous!

Best goal must Hans from the half field (we did not score many, huh…haha)

The next step is to be consistent which I think is the biggest challenge. Can’t wait for the next re match in 2 weeks time, let see if this time we can snatch a bigger win....haha….

and another interesting side fact, we actually had subs who were defenders thus making the midfield and attack pretty solid, and lasted for almost the whole game! haha

good job guys I'd think another good game, very much in par with our 2-0 win over DJ FC, and most importantly another clean sheet for our defense. I see a lot of improvement in our defense now, with more and more quality additions coming in, in "Kelvin" and Kevin. Given more games, I'm sure the defense would start to gel and play well.

keep it up guys!

I haven foolowed this these games so far but seems like a great win. Congrats.
Torres said. "But when you play for a team like Liverpool you don't have to worry about that. You are a top player and you will get a good contract. You don't have to be scared to lose a little bit of money." ..

Team____ P,W,D,L,F,A,GD,Pts
-------------------------------------
SSPKD____8,6,0,2,29,15,14,18
FARM ____8,6,0,2,18,10,8,18
CK_______8,4,1,3,18,14,4,13
DJ_______8,4,0,4,14,20,-6,12
RDL______8,3,2,3,24,24,0,11
SUPERSUB_8,3,0,5,16,16,0,9
FFK______ 8,2,1,5,15_17,-2,7
MyRAWK__8,2,0,6,7,23,-16,6

Guys, we can haul ourselves from the bottom of the table in our next game.
We will be playing FFK (the team with 2 blacks) which beat us 5-2 at GIS.
Looking at the table, we are the lowest scoring team, we scored half as many as the next lowest scoring team.
As a consolation we are not the worst in defense. We conceded 23 compared to RDL's 24.

Oh well looks like we are still anchored at the bottom. DJ seems to have improved a lot at #4, let's hope we can grind out a result this weekend.
